gamebaze_course 2026
Gamebaze_course is an intensive two-month program that will teach you how to do business in game development. You can look forward to a series of lectures and workshops with top experts from the Czech game development scene, who will share their know-how with you.
The program primarily focuses on “non-technical” areas—everything you need to know to turn your game from a hobby into a functioning business. We cover topics such as production, marketing, finance, studio setup, porting, localization, and data collection.
Hot News for 2026
We are opening our doors to teams from all over the country. It doesn’t matter if you're based in Pilsen, Ostrava, or Prague.
The program runs in a hybrid format. You can attend in person in Brno and network face-to-face, or join online from the comfort of your office.
We are looking for 30 of the most promising teams ready to break through.
Who Is the Program For?
-
Developers who are serious about digital games.
-
Teams (or individuals) who already have a prototype, demo, or beta version.

-
Teams with a prototype they want to finish and successfully bring to market.
-
Developers looking for a publisher, investor, or exploring ways to finance development (e.g., grants).
Participation of the entire team is not mandatory. For each session, you can send the team member for whom the topic is most relevant (e.g., a marketer for marketing, a producer for finance).

If attending in person: access to coworking spaces at Gamebaze shared with other developers on program days.
When and Where?
If you are based in Brno, we will meet at the KUMST Creative Hub, Údolní 19.
If you are located elsewhere, you can join online.

How to Apply
First, fill out the questionnaire. We will review your submission, and if it is a good fit, we will send you an invitation.
Application deadline: March 20, 2026
What Are We Looking For in the Questionnaire?
We are interested in your project, your ambitions, and your experience so far. This is not a knowledge test—we aim to select the teams that will benefit most from the program.
FAQ
Do we need to have a finished game?
No. However, you should have at least a prototype demonstrating the core mechanics. A design document or vertical slice is a significant advantage. An idea alone is not enough.
Who can participate on behalf of the team?
You pay for one team slot. The team member most relevant to each topic can attend the respective session.
Will recordings be available?
No. We do not record sessions. The lessons are interactive, and discussions often include sensitive information (unannounced games, sales data, investors) that must remain “in the room,” whether physical or virtual.
How does the hybrid model work?
Quality is our priority. Online participants will have access to a full-featured live stream and the ability to ask questions in real time via Discord or chat. Networking will take place in dedicated channels.
Do you have additional questions?
Write to us at incubator@gamebaze.cz and we will be happy to discuss them with you.
